Title: Jr. Project Manager

 

Job Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects; develop and update project plans for IT projects including objectives, technologies required, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing with senior project manager; coordinate with necessary teams during the SDLC to keep project on track; assist senior project manager with guiding the work of the development team; gather and interpret business requirements and ensure that they are translated into BRDs, technical specifications and test documentation; assign tasks to project staff, monitor progress and track project milestones and deliverables; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; schedule and facilitate meetings; conduct daily stand up meetings with teams; prepare weekly status reports and project metrics; serve as a liaison between client and development team; prepare project status reports; manage project delivery process and obtain user signoff on deliverables; use and support best practices and standards; and assist the team in using the following tools/technologies to accomplish project goals: Linux, UNIX, SQL Server, Oracle, Tomcat, JBoss, SOAP, HTML, AJAX, C, C++, Java, JQuery, JavaScript, and related tools.

Job Duties: Utilizing independent judgment, administer, test and implement moderately complex computer databases; gather and analyze user requirements; develop data models to describe data elements and how they are used; design and build high availability solutions; configure mirroring and replication on critical databases; check mirroring status; migrate servers; apply patches; create efficient physical database design from a logical data model and application specifications; rebuild indexes for better performance; perform configuration for business functions, including index and data management to determine defragmentation level whether to update statistics or rebuild and reorganize indexes; monitor data usage and implement necessary changes; implement strategies to ensure that only authorized users have access to data; configure encryption; change to data structures, SQL, application logic or the DBMS subsystem to optimize performance; implement backup and recovery strategy application availability requirements; design and build disaster recovery solutions for both On-Premise and Cloud environments review error logs for errors and security issues; review failed jobs; apply critical patches; and use: Windows, SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Azure, AWS, IDERA, C/C++, Shell Scripting, SQL Scripting and related tools.

Title: SQL Database Developer

 

Job Duties: Design, develop and implement moderately complex database solutions and architecture; develop data models; coordinate changes to databases; assist with end to end design to deployment of SSIS packages; design external architecture and internal process of SSAS cubes and MDX queries; provide support for emergency break fix model; develop reporting tools; monitor reporting jobs and process tasks to send out reports; assist developers with deploying solutions into databases; document process of application level changes and history of changes; write power shell scripting files and help teams to develop bash script files used to log data and run/process data of various sources; work closely with business users to move data from database to AWS cloud through S3 process; assist other teams in conversion of data to build APIs that pull data directly from cloud databases; assist with server based operations, and fix issues on application level and database level servers; work closely with automated testing team and identify bugs; write the test cases based on reporting; perform code review for changes that go into outage process; create change management tickets and work with project managers to get approvals; maintain and provide access with security groups on various sites; provide library permission; plan, coordinate and implement security measures; develop and publish dashboards by creating gateways for different sources; create tickets and sort backlog of tickets with product owners; schedule, plan and oversee installation and testing of new products to systems; train users; and use: Windows, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Studio, Visio, Putty, SSRS, SSAS, Power Pivot Reporting, Power BI reporting, VB, XML, .Net, UML, Shell Script and related tools.
